The Blind Test of Literature
Hopefully the “few favourites” above can give the reader and browser of The Air Signs Booklist a sense of what I, your dear librarian, has actually read from cover to cover. To play Devil’s Advocate I have also read The Gulag Archipelago Volumes 1-3.
While I was compiling this list I thought of how mutually useful such a blind test would be for both myself and my imaginary “examiner” aka “internet user.” Have I passed the archetypal test that would confirm that I am actually human versus being an AI bot. One can equally ask the “Coffee Question” i.e. do I actually enjoy my favourite beverage?
To underline my point: I haven’t read any Terry Pratchett beyond the cover FYI Terry’s Cave, Chimanimani Mountains (Zimbabwe side). Additionally, in the last day or so I read the first chapter of The Eye of the World, from Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series (and Lucinda Riley remains at the top of my TBR list – BTW Pleiades).

Finally, in total, the three Air Signs Booklists together contain 400 books (plus a few stop press extras!)

From the feminist in me to the gent in you – may your journey be good and your reading thorough. Bon voyage and adieu Internet. The mythological full stop. (and P.S. Kids – continue to be kids while you can!!!) Have we got this far without mentioning Mercury and Uranus? The End. Sweet dreams. Sweet dreams Venus Conjunct Neptune in Gemini! The take-away and your astrological Easter egg folklore.
